The Anti-Prom is the 22nd episode of Season 3 of WB teen drama Dawson's Creek.

Synopsis

SPRING FEVER – Dawson (James Van Der Beek), Joey (Katie Holmes) and Andie (Meredith Monroe) prepare their own unique prom when they learn that the committee has scrutinized Jack's (Kerr Smith) selected date. Dawson, who has invited Joey to be his date, uses the special evening to try to win her back and make Pacey (Joshua Jackson) jealous; Andie persuades Pacey to be her escort but her evening ends by consoling him about his love life uncertainties; Jen (Michelle Williams) becomes outraged with Henry (Michael Pitt) when he reveals he is leaving Capeside for the summer; and Gale (Mary-Margaret Humes) and Mitch (John Wesley Shipp) celebrate their new found romance.

Plot

Jack struggles with his prom experience turning political when he wants to bring Ethan as his date. Joey attempts to rebuild friendships, but faces an ultimatum from Dawson. Jen and Henry discuss the possibility of having sex on prom night, and Andie spends some time with a downcast Pacey.
