Anyone who's never been hurt, is either very lucky; or very lonely
—Mitch to Dawson
For someone who views himself as a tragically nice guy, I spend an awful lot of time apologising
—Dawson to Jen

  • Pacey calls Joey out on her feelings for Dawson
  • Dawson acts like a possessive, condescending, chauvinist idiot
  • Pacey punches out a guy who's trying to make a move on a drunk Joey
  • Dawson tells Joey he's always there for her and a drunken, sleepy Joey responds by kissing him
  • Jen ends things with Billy for good and breaks up with Dawson
  • Dawson's reaction is telling Jen that she 'made him fall for her' and that she's incapable of a healthy relationship. Such a nice guy.
